Sister files suit in Lower Merion webcam case

Another lawsuit has been filed in the Lower Merion school district’s webcam case.

Paige Robbins, the sister of Harriton High School student Blake Robbins, has filed a suit similar to the one he filed in February of 2010, reports the Mainly  Media News.

The original case stemmed from photos taken by a district-issued laptop while in the Robbins home. The picture-taking feature was part of a security program that district officials installed on the computers to recover lost or stolen laptops.

According to the report, the district has questioned Paige Robbins’ motives for filing the suit, noting that she only recently turned 18, the age required for her to file suit on her own behalf.
