Showers, thunderstorms possible later

Showers and thunderstorms are possible this evening, forecasters say.

A few of the thunderstorms could be strong with “gusty winds, localized brief poor drainage flooding rain, and small hail,” a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued by the National Weather Service said.

The primary threat is along the Delaware River from Trenton northward.

Radar at 4:15 p.m. indicates showers and thunderstorms heading southeast through central and eastern Pennsylvania.
