Ship docks at Penn’s Landing for coal impact awareness

The Arctic Sunrise has docked in Philadelphia for its second stop on the Coal Free Future Tour. The Greenpeace ship is here through tomorrow for tours and coal impact awareness, PlanPhilly reports.

Pennsylvania has more coal plants than any other state, and records three deaths per day as the result of coal plant emissions, writes Greenpeace Philly spokesperson Myriam Fallon.

You can tour the ship today and tomorrow from noon to 6 p.m. until it heads to its next stop.
