Serious crash closes Route 539 in New Egypt

Authorities are on the scene of a serious crash on Route 539 in New Egypt late this morning.
Firefighters were dispatched to extricate at least one person trapped in a vehicle, according to Ocean County Police, Fire and EMS on Facebook.
A medevac is en route to the New Egypt Speedway.
Route 539 is closed between Colliers Mill Road and Route 528 for an accident investigation, according to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
