September delivers another nice weekend

The weekend is here, and it’ll be mostly sunny (some clouds developing during the afternoon, and perhaps a few more tomorrow) and dry. High temperatures will be around 70 degrees throughout the state. Overnight lows will drop down to the low to mid 50s everywhere expect the higher elevations (low to mid 40s).
BOAT/BEACH: With northeast winds at 10 to 15 mph. an onshore flow continues, keeping the rip current risk at a moderate level. Breakers and ocean swells are around three feet, and the ocean temperature is in the mid 60s. With lifeguards off-duty at most beaches, exercise extreme caution.
