Shuttle buses to replace trains this weekend from Wayne Junction to Chestnut Hill East

Due to track maintenance work, SEPTA trains will not operate between Chestnut Hill East and Wayne Junction Stations this weekend. Shuttle buses will be used to transport Chestnut Hill East passengers between Chestnut Hill East and Wayne Junction Stations.

Passengers leaving from Chestnut Hill East will board shuttle buses at the scheduled train times and travel to Wayne Junction to connect with trains. When returning to Chestnut Hill East, all trains will stop at Wayne Junction. Passengers continuing to Chestnut Hill East will board shuttle buses.

Regional Rail train service on this line will also be replaced by buses on the weekends of July 9-10; and July 16-17.

In addition to shuttle busing on weekends, all Chestnut Hill East trains will board on the outbound platforms between Wayne Junction and Chestnut Hill East Stations Mondays through Fridays from 9:15 a.m.-3:30 p.m., from June 13 through August 26.
