SEPTA trains delayed after woman is struck at Marcus Hook station

    Passengers traveling along SEPTA’s Wilmington/Newark Regional Rail Line were experiencing delays Monday evening as police investigated  an accident at the Marcus Hook station in Delaware County, SEPTA officials said.

    Though few details were available, a SEPTA official confirmed a woman was struck by an Amtrak train about 6:30 p.m..

    As of 8 p.m., service was still halted as SEPTA officials worked to get passengers stranded at the Marcus Hook station onto buses to continue their journeys.

    Authorities were continuing their investigation Monday night.
