As you wait for results from the Vendy Awards, we’ll have plenty of other news to keep you busy. David Manilla will be sentenced today after pleading no contest in May to involuntary manslaughter in the death of hunter Barry Groh. Lizz Fiedler is heading to court for details.

Tom MacDonald will fill us in on the Casino Control Commission’s Atlantic City boutique casino applications, since the deadline is looming.

Peter Crimmins and FIT’s Lari Robling are going on a food vendor mission ahead of the Vendy Award announcements. They’ll clue us in on the tasty and affordable.

An amendment yesterday signed by Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett regulates opt-out HIV testing. Carolyn Beeler will explain the law’s details to us and how the amendment could change the way HIV is reported.

We’ve got that and more, plus some great weekend features. And don’t forget about that free water ice.
