Second Camden County trash collection deal expected to save $700k

    Another trash collection consolidation plan in Camden County is expected to save $700,000.

    The first, announced last fall, joined Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Haddon Township and five other towns. The one county freeholders announced today will unite 17 other towns.
    Audubon, Audubon Park, Barrington, Bellmawr, Brooklawn, Chesilhurst, Clementon, Gloucester City, Haddonfield, Lawnside, Lindenwold, Mt. Ephraim, Oaklyn, Pennsauken, Pine Hill, Runnemede and Woodlynne are now part of a trash disposal package deal, the Gloucester County Times reports, and bids will open tomorrow.

    Several county institutions and 63,000 households are part of the new collective.
