    Hazleton gained national attention when its Mayor tried to punish landlords who rent to illegal immigrants.

    Now, with an influx of Spanish-speakers to the city, it’s not just the adults who are changing the area’s demographics. 

    The Hazleton School District has the tricky task of educating a flood of students who don’t speak fluent English – and Elizabeth will tell you how they’re doing it.
