School District expected to pass provisional budget
One hour from now — assuming things go according to plan — the School District of Philadelphia will release its provisional budget, NewsWorks partner Philadelphia Weekly reports.
It’s anyone’s guess what will be in the plan, since cuts to full-day kindergarten, summer school programs and extra curriculars are all on the table and a solid deal with SEPTA for transportation aid has yet to emerge.
Stay tuned for the 5 p.m. unveiling.
