Hamilton school board business admin placed on leave

Testimony at the federal corruption trial of Hamilton Mayor John Bencivengo has led to fallout on the school board.

School business administrator Joseph Tramontana has been placed on administrative leave.

The Times of Trenton reports school Superintendent James Parla made the decision.

A cooperating witness at the mayor’s trial had testified earlier that she had given benefits to Tramontana and his wife, who is the township’s recreation director.
