Saving water

The Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership is gearing up for its annual Ethical Electronics Recycling Event, which encourages electronic recycling to help save waterways.

Held next weekend at Cedarbrook Middle School in Wyncote, the event will allow residents to recycle their old electronics rather than have them end up in landfills and polluting the Tookcany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed.

The Glenside News Globe Times Chronicle reports the TTFW has eliminated 40,000 pounds of electronic waste over the years.
