‘Safe’ streets

Beginning this evening, a few Center City streets will be closed periodically through mid-December. Quit your whining, we’re getting a movie out of it.

 

Safe, a Jason Statham action movie, will be filiming in and around Center City, causing traffic delays, reroutes and closures. Keep this list handy for your commuting purposes:

Friday, Nov. 19 – Saturday, Nov. 20

Broad Street will be closed between Sansom and Locust streets from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 23

18th Street between Walnut and Chestnut streets and Sansom Street between 17th and 19th streets from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 24

Chestnut Street between Fourth and Fifth streets from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 13

Ninth Street between Washington Avenue and Carpenter Street from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
