Rowan president search halted during merger conversation

The search for Rowan University’s new president is off while the conversation continues over the proposed merger with Rutgers-Camden.

The final candidates for the position have withdrawn for undisclosed reasons and it’s back to square one for Rowan.

“Until there’s some clarity, we really can’t move,” university spokesman Joe Cardona told the Gloucester County Times.
