New wine festival comes to Pennsville’s Riverview Beach Park

A new celebration of the local wine industry is coming to Pennsville in Salem County on May 16 and 17.

The inaugural Riverview Beach Park Wine Festival will feature 12 New Jersey wineries, including Natali Vineyards, Wagonhouse Winery, Chestnut Run Farm, Coda Rossa Winery and Salem Oak Vineyards.

The vineyards all hail from the newly designated Vintage Atlantic Wine Region.

Several food trucks will be on the grounds, serving up grub to pair with the wines.  Festival-goers are welcome to bring their own picnic baskets and coolers, blankets, beach chairs and camping tables.

Pets and alcoholic beverages brought from outside the festival are not permitted.

Wristband admission cost $20 at the gate, and includes an etched wineglass to sample all wines.  Those under 21 years old and non-drinkers can enter for free.

Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, noon to 5 p.m. – Riverview Beach Park, Pennsville, N.J.
