Reward increased to $15,000 for South Philly slasher suspect
It was about 4 a.m. on Nov. 11 when a woman walking along the 700 block of South 9th Street in South Philadelphia was approached from behind. She was robbed and brutally slashed across her face with an unknown object, leaving her with a cut that needed 100 stitches to close.
Her attacker is still at large.
Authorities in Philadelphia have announced an increase in the reward for her attacker’s apprehension.
According to ABC6, a $15,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the suspect who is “described as a white or Hispanic male with a thin build wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with an emblem on the left side of the hood, black pants and dark-colored shoes.”
