Rep. DeLissio to start campaign meet and greets this weekend

State Rep. Pamela DeLissio, who announced her intent for run for re-election in the 194th District this week, will host two meet and greet sessions in the Roxborough area on topics including healthcare and the environment.

“I enjoy meeting friends and neighbors in informal settings,” said DeLissio. “It allows me the opportunity to really focus on what constituents are saying.”

Tonight, she will hold a session that will focus on healthcare and aging topics. As a committee member of Aging and Older Adult Services, Health, and Human Services, she says she has concerns about the impact of proposed budget cuts. “All of them are important to somebody,” said DeLissio.

On Sunday, March 25, DeLissio will host a second session about environmental issues, including the Marcellus Shale drilling. She says she has concerns about the impact that the drilling may have on the Delaware Valley, including issues with zoning limitations.
