Renowned rodeo star killed by bull in New Jersey

Rodeo riders are mourning the loss of “El Andariego,” the Mexican rodeo star killed Sunday by a bull in Bridgeton, N.J.

Rigoberto Flores, 24, was well-know on the East Coast to devotees of the Mexican-style rodeo, the Associated Press reports, and went by a name that meant, “the Wandere of Izucar Matamoros, Puebla,” the city Flores was from.

Flores was thrown from a bull Sunday at a rodeo in Bridgeton and fatally injured. A tribute will be held to raise funds for Flores’ pregnant wife and young daughter.
