Refudiate

Members of the American Dialect Society are meeting today to choose the “Word of the Year.” In one of many meetings taking place, about 1,000 people will gather in Pittsburgh as part of the Linguistic Society of America to choose this year’s word.
The Associated Press reports among the considerations are Belieber’ an homage to pop star Justin Bieber; vuvuzela, the plastic horns fans used during the World Cup; and Sarah Palin’s refudiate.

Feed the Feed What’s your nomination for the word of the year? What’s Philadelphia’s word of the year?
