Refinery workers march for jobs Satuday in Delco

Hundreds of workers marched Saturday in Delaware County to fight for their jobs.

The Daily Times reports the workers marched down Market Street and gathered at Market Street Park, where they held signs, listened to speeches and chanted.

The workers are showing their support for the Sunoco and ConocoPhillips refineries, which could be shut down if a buyer isn’t found within a matter of months.

The Daily Times says the two facilities serve as an important part of the local economy.
