Redesign process keeps Limekiln Pike Bridge closed through 2015

Limekiln Pike Bridge will remain closed through at least 2015 as PennDOT reconsiders its design plan and bidding process.

The Montgomery County bridge closed in the northbound direction for improvements in May 2010, and Hatboro-Horsham Patch reports the bridge will stay closed for the next three years as a bid is awarded and repair work on the historic span can begin.

As more details emerge, PennDOT will hold a public meeting for the community.
