Police arrest man in connection to Finley Playground fatal shooting
Philadelphia police have arrested a 19-year-old Olney man in connection to a fatal shooting that unfolded inside a city recreation center last Friday night.
Saleem Snead is charged with murdering Paris Talbert, 17, of Elkins Park. Snead allegedly shot Talbert in the abdomen around 11:08 p.m. on Sept. 7 at Finley Playground in the city’s Stenton neighborhood.
Talbert was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:15 a.m. on Sept. 8.
Police say a motive has not yet been determined.
