Rain arrives later Saturday at the Shore
A grey weekend is ahead at the Jersey Shore, forecasters say.
Saturday will feature low clouds and a chance of showers during the day before steadier rain moves in during the nighttime hours.
The National Weather Service is forecasting less than a tenth of an inch of rain and temperatures rising to around 50 degrees.
But at night, as periods of heavy rain arrive, precipitation is likely to increase to a quarter and a half-inch of rainfall.
Sunday is likely to be a generally rainy day, and it will be milder, with temperatures rising to the middle 50s. Up to an additional half-inch of rain is likely.
Local rivers and streams would experience rises Saturday night into Sunday, and poor drainage and low-lying flooding is possible, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies will begin to clear at night, leading to a partly sunny Monday.
