Railroad exhibit opens at Public Archives

The history of railroading in Delaware is explored in an exhibit now on display at the Delaware Public Archives.

The Jackson & Sharp Photograph and Drawings Collection includes more than 4,000 images, drawings and documents related to the Jackson & Sharp Company of Wilmington. The company operated from 1863 to 1950, building railroad cars for companies around the world.

The free exhibit is on display from 10 AM to 4 PM through Saturday. The collection has also been digitized and is available on the Public Archives website, archives.delaware.gov.
