Race Street Pier development moving forward
Plans for the Race Street Pier are ambitious. And, apparently, moving along as planned. Members of the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation say they’re happy with the progress and the exciting new things planned for the pier.
The park is scheduled to open this spring, and as PlanPhilly reports, a live arts venue and restaurant are on tap to complete the revitalization. The plans are part of a $5 million grant from the William Penn Foundation.
