    Married with children,

Emphasizing that she is not a career politician and thus has no desire to be a part of the Washington insider crowd. She is a mother, a wife, an everyday American who is going through the same struggles, in touch with the American people.

    On the Issues:

    – Cut Wasteful Spending, no more “backroom deals” in Washington, no earmarks

    – Cut taxes, allow Americans to keep more of what they earn

    – No government take-over of the healthcare system

    – Create jobs, get America back to work
    – “Slash the size of government…Burn every regulation that kills free-enterprise”

    Energy and the Environment:

    -Drill here, drill now

-Reduce dependence on foreign oil—energy independence

-Develop alternative sources of energy such as wind and clean coal

Izzo is opposed to President Obama’s national healthcare program and is instead proposing that in order to bring down costs, insurance companies should be allowed to compete across state lines. She also thinks that people should have portability with their healthcare, if they change jobs they should be able to take their healthcare from their previous job with them.
