Mt. Airy theater company brings ‘Don Juan’ to Sedgwick
The Quintessence Theater Group in Mt. Airy begins its run of Don Juan beginning tonight at the Sedgwick Theater at 7137 Germantown Ave. Photographer Bas Slabbers shot these pictures during the dress rehearsal on Sunday night.
Alexander Burns and Pamela Reichen founded Quintessence Theatre Group in the fall of 2009. Previous productions include Shakespeare’s Measure For Measure, Henry V and Plato’s Apology.
The cast for Don Juan features Anthony DeSando as Don Juan, Jessica DalCanton, Bethany Ditnes, Daniel Fredrick, Robb Hutter, Ken Sandberg, Griffin Stanton-Ameisen and John Williams as Sganarelle.
Don Juan runs Feb 16 – March 13. Wednesdays at 7p.m., Thursdays – Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m. Length: 1 hr 40 mins. General admission tickets cost $30.
