Queen Latifah praises student focus at Delaware State University graduation

    Actress and singer Queen Latifah praised graduates of Delaware State University this weekend at her first commencement address.

    Queen Latifah spoke to nearly 225 graduates in the college of arts, humanities and social sciences in one of four graduation ceremonies at DSU this weekend.

     

    “I want to commend you first of all for staying focused, for staying clear-minded, for staying determined enough to make it to this day,” the Wilmington News Journal reports her saying.
