Previously recorded Clarence Clemons Christmas songs to be released

It’ll be a very Clemons Christmas this year, as two songs the E Street Band sax player recorded in the ’80s will be released posthumously in time for the holidays.

Clarence Clemons died in June following a stroke, but his spirit will live on in November, when, the Star-Ledger reports, the songs will be released at an Asbury Park bar with a headline performance by the Nick Clemons Band — a group led by the saxophonist’s son.

You’ll also be able to hear the songs on iTunes in the coming months.
