Possible case of bed bugs reported at Philadelphia Police station

Among everything else they are responsible for, Philadelphia Police Officers are now having to deal with the possibility of a bed bug infestation at one station.

Police say they’ve had to call an exterminator at the Harbison and Levick Street station to deal with the possible infestation.

Fraternal Order of Police Vice President Roosevelt Poplar told NewsWorks Elizabeth Fiedler the building is very busy with prisoners and hundreds of police officers from the 2nd and 15th Police Districts.

The department’s Northeast Detective Division also operates out of the building.
