Portion of Pennsylvania Turnpike closed for construction

    The first six hours of Sunday will bring a lull in Turnpike traffic as crews use the early morning hours for bridge work.A 14-mile-stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between Valley Forge and Downingtown will close at 12:01 a.m. The road will reopen around 6 a.m. when contractors finish placing steel beams on a bridge.
