Police: Villanova student taped women undressing

Authorities in suburban Philadelphia say a Villanova University sophomore faces charges after taping at least three women undressing in a bathroom and posting the videos online.

Radnor Township police say 19-year-old Tyler Jones shot the videos at his family’s home in Switzerland, but uploaded them from his Villanova dorm room.

Detective T.J. Schreiber says a woman in New York City called and said she recognized herself in a video online and remembered the bathroom from a visit to Switzerland last year. She says she had been visiting Tyler Jones’ brother.

Police say Jones has taken a leave of absence from the private, Catholic school. A Villanova spokesman says it takes allegations of wrongdoing seriously.
