Police to remind residents of Fairmount and Pennypack park attacks

    Eight years to the day after the first of three women was attacked by a man in Fairmount Park, the Philadelphia Police will be out and about today reminding people of the “Fairmount Park Rapist” and looking for tips.

     

    Officers will be at three locations today from 10 a.m. to dusk to hand out updated information fliers about the attack:

    Fairmount Park on East River and West River drivesForbidden Drive & Bells Mills RoadPennypack Park at Rhawn Street and Frankford Avenue

    The flier has information about the man DNA confirms has attacked three women between April 30, 2003 and Aug. 11, 2007.
