District Attorney Lynne Abraham dedicated a wall of photographs of honor to the police officers who died in the line of duty during her 18 years in office. Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey attended the ceremony and had words of praise for Abraham, and for the next D.A. on pursuing violence against police officers.

Ramsey: It’s something we all need to bear in mind just how aggressive this office has prosecuted those offenders and whoever is fortunate enough to be the next district attorney of Philadelphia hopefully they will continue that same tradition.

The DA decided to create the wall as a tribute to the 21 police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty during her tenure as the city’s top prosecutor as a show of respect.
