Police seeking suspect in Cedarbrook robbery
On June 27 at approximately 8:50 p.m. two females on the 1000 block of East Mt. Airy Avenue were approached from behind by a male who said, “May I ask you a question.”
He then motioned under his shirt, indicating that he may have a handgun and said, “Give me what you got.”
One of the complainants handed him $20. The suspect then asked if the two had cellphones. When they said they didn’t have cellphones, the suspect ran away.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 30. He is about 5 feet 11 inches in height with a thin build. He was seen with a beard and wearing dark colored pants, dark colored sneakers and a gray hoodie.
