Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an unknown male who robbed the CVS at 6344 Stenton Ave. in East Mt. Airy on Saturday evening.

At 5:48 p.m. the suspect entered the CVS and placed a soda on the check-out counter. As the employee was completing the sale, the suspect said “give me all your money…I don’t want to hurt you,” while keeping his hands in his pockets to indicate a possible handgun.

The employee handed the suspect the drawer from the cash register and the suspect took $548. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 30 and 40 with a stocky build, light goatee. He was wearing a tan wool cap, sunglasses, a thick dark-colored vest, a camouflage hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
