Police search for Mt. Airy restaurant robber

Philadelphia Police are searching for a man who recently robbed a luncheonette in the city’s Mt. Airy neighborhood.

At 1:55 a.m. on Nov. 10, the unknown offender allegedly broke the front door glass of Kim’s Trio Delight at 6709 Germantown Ave. After entering the establishment, the suspect broke open a cash register by smashing it on the ground. He then fled in an unknown direction with $100 in cash.

Police are describing the offender as a black male between the ages of 30 and 40 years old with a stocky build, medium complexion and mustache.

The suspect was wearing a blue ski cap, sweatshirt, khaki pants and Adidas sneakers at the time of the incident, which was captured on surveillance video.
