Police search for large deer in Atlantic City

A large deer is on the loose in Atlantic City after being spotted several times this week and most recently this morning.

WPVI-TV reports police attempted to corner the deer and lead it into a prisoner transport van but it escaped around 6:00 a.m.

The large deer was seen earlier this week near a local playground.

Police tell WPVI-TV the animal is responsible for a minor fender bender at Brighton and Arctic Avenues.

According to WPVI-TV, police plan to continue their search later today.
