Police misconduct hearing on for Tuesday

Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller of the (8th District) and the Chair of the Public Safety Committee, along with Councilman Curtis Jones, Jr. (4th District) will be holding a public hearing to evaluate the issues surfacing around the Philadelphia Police Department and the conduct of its officers.

The hearing will be broken up into panels with the objective of hearing what the police department, the Mayor’s office, other public and private agencies and the general public are doing and why. This hearing is expected to collect constructive information with an attempt to preserve the strong relationships between the Police department, its officers and the civilians that they come in contact with every day.
