Police in New Jersey respond to brawl call but make counterfeit money arrests
Police who were responding to reports of a brawl at a Seaside Park motel ended up seizing nearly $12,000 in counterfeit money instead.
According to the Associated Press, authorities seized the thousands in counterfeit dollars allegedly made by one of the fight participants.
Investigators tell the AP it appears one of the suspects was making the money in a room of the motel, possibly circulating up to $50,000 in fake bills.
