Police arrest boyfriend in death of E. Mt. Airy woman
A Frankford man has been charged in the death of 27-year-old Rosalyn Daniels of E. Mt. Airy.
The woman’s body was discovered early Monday morning in her home, which was set on fire.
Police arrested 32-year-old Donald Newsome in connection with Daniels death.
Authorities allege that Newsome killed Daniels by slashing her throat and set her E. Cliveden St. home on fire in an attempt to cover up his crime.
Patch reports that the victim’s mother Rafeeqah Sanders has said her daughter was planning to break up with Newsome.
