PODCAST: NJ Spotlight on the proposed outdoor smoking ordinance in Atlantic City

On Wednesday, Atlantic City City Council members discussed an ordinance that would ban smoking at playgrounds and ball fields.

The ordinance is scheduled to be voted on later this month. Should it pass, NJ Spotlight’s Beth Fitzgerald says Atlantic City will present something of a paradox: Smoking will be illegal in certain outdoor space, but will be permitted indoors at the casinos.

In this week’s NJ Spotlight podcast, Fitzgerald breaks down the impact the ordinance would have on Atlantic City and the rest of the state with NewsWorks New Jersey editor Josh Simeone.
