Plaque dedication for DRPA officer

    The family of Cpl. Christopher Milito will commemorate the one-year anniversary of the officer’s death at a plaque dedication ceremony today.

    Milito died Jan. 16, 2010 from injuries sustained while assisting in a traffic accident investigation on the Walt Whitman Bridge. Friends, family and fellow Delaware River Port Authority officers will gather at the Walt Whitman Bridge Administration Building for the ceremony.

    The 40-year-old was a 16-year veteran of the DRPA.
