Pie eating, pets and more at 8th annual Mt. Airy Village Fair

The eighth annual Mt. Airy Village Fair took place on Greene Street and Carpenter Lane in Mt. Airy on Sunday.

The fair featured circus arts, knitting lessons, a pie-eating contest, readings by local authors, a pet adoption center, arts and crafts and much more.

There was food, dancing, live music and a pet pageant.

The Weavers Way Food Justice Committee also collected non-perishable food items to be donated to the SHARE Food Program.
