PICA approves Philadelphia budget

    Reporter, blogger and Fresh Air fill-in host Dave Davies tells us PICA has approved Philadelphia’s budget and five-year plan.

    The Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority met today to decide whether the city has enough money to support the spending proposal in its plan. Dave will have more details for us later, including whether the city’s decision to keep DROP created any hesitance in the PICA board’s move to approve the budget.
