Photos: Camden says goodbye to Randy Primas

The City of Camden said goodbye to one of its own Friday during a service for former Camden Mayor and Chief Operating Officer Randy Primas.

Primas, 62, died last week of natural causes from a hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Hundreds of people spent Friday morning saying goodbye to the city’s first black mayor at St. John Baptist Church in Camden.

A full police presence was on hand to salute the former mayor. An American flag was even placed atop the ladder of a city fire truck parked near the church.
