Photos: 2nd and 7th Districts celebrate National Night Out

Fox Chase Town Watch President Steve Phillips told NEast Philly Monday (you can catch the full story in Wednesday’s Metro newspaper) that the 2nd and 7th Districts were expecting about 2,000 people for Tuesday’s National Night Out event at Fox Chase Elementary.

As you can see from our slideshow, the event — an annual nationwide celebration designed to promote community safety — proved a success. With guests like former Phillie Ricky Bottalico, District Attorney Seth Williams and City Controller Alan Butkovitz, the 2nd and 7th districts provided food, fun and safety to neighbors.

You can see the photos from the 8th District’s celebration here, and you can see extra photos from the three districts here.
