Phoenixville Library closes for first phase of renovations

With more than $1 million in state state grants and private funds in hand, the Phoenixville Public Library is closing for renovations.

For the next two weeks, new lights will be installed, and the executive director and office manager will move their offices to make way for a new, larger computer center.
The second phase of the project begins May 23 and lasts through August, during which time windows and carpets will be installed and the roof will be repaired.

The Phoenix has details on the full scope of the project and the library’s operating hours during the renovations.
