Maybe the Phillies lost the NLCS this season because they were too busy enjoying the recipes from the team’s new cookbook. Dubbed the “Phillies Wives Cookbook,” the recipe collection includes meals from the players and coaches and their families.
“From Our Home to Yours, A Collection of Phillies Recipes” is now on sale (complete with a video of Rollins, Halladay and Hamels getting crafty in the kitchen). Sale proceeds from the surprisingly resonably priced book will go to the Covenant House of Pennsylvania to help homeless and at-risk youth.
